One of
my hobbies on my spare time is Photography. I always bring my digital camera wherever
I go, so not to missed opportunities to takes pictures of those interesting images,
situation, and objects that come on my way. I accumulated collections of
photos in my digital library waiting to be published.
Then
lately, I decided to change my hobby to Gardening, I started to plant vegetables, fruit
trees, and flower plants in my backyard. Just for a few months, I've been enjoying the fruit of my labor, especially when it's time for harvesting those fruits and vegetables. They are so fresh and sweet. I don’t used
pesticides, and I only used organic fertilizers. There is a problem thou; if you don’t
use any pesticides here in Florida. Some of the plants will have pest and diseases,
and other plants can be defoliated by other insects; I am observing this Tobacco hornworm while his eating the leaves, by the end of the day, it almost gone. First, I was angry! But then I realized that maybe that’s
an opportunity to take a photograph. So I did, you can see the pictures below, and until now, when I wake-up in the
morning, I always looking in my backyard, watching the Giant swallowtails and Gulf
fritillary butterflies hovering around and cross pollinating. What a nice
way to start a day!
